Beauty abounds at the Chelsea Flower Show

Currently on somewhat of a Champagne reconnaissance mission in the blossoming European spring, Ferda Barrow and her female progeny decided to make a necessary pit stop at what is arguably the most prestigious and definitely one of the longest standing commercial flower shows in the world, namely The Chelsea Flower Show just outside of London. With over 100 specialist plant breeders, nurseries and societies exhibiting, we’re sure that Ferda, an avid gardener herself, is no doubt there in part to gain divine planting inspiration and to surround herself with likeminded flower enthusiasts.

Well represented too was South Africa’s ‘Team Kirstenbosch’ who, possibly in lieu of the Franschhoek support (or so we like to think), managed to pull ahead with a gold medal at this year’s show. Big congratulations to the team for doing South Africa’s diverse natural beauty proud! Read more about their achievement here.
