Le Lude is delighted to announce that British Master of Wine, Tim Atkin, has named Le Lude’s Venus Brut Nature 2014 as “Sparkling Wine Discovery of the Year” in his South Africa Special Report 2022.
Atkin gave the wine, the 10th anniversary maiden vintage, 95 out of 100 points, meaning “Classic: a great wine.”
Our limited edition Venus Brut Nature 2014 is a blend of 72% Chardonnay and 28% Pinot Noir, matured for a minimum of 70 months on the lees, and on the final cork for six months prior to release. This wine is drinking beautifully now, and has an unlimited aging potential.
