In the Tim Atkin South Africa 2025 Report, renowned Master of Wine Tim Atkin once again recognised the excellence of Le Lude’s Cap Classiques.
Our Brut Reserve received a distinguished 91 points, its extended lees ageing – beyond the minimum 36 months typical for the Reserve range – adding refined richness and complexity while retaining the fresh, elegant minerality of our signature style.
Equally celebrated was the Limited Release Brut Rosé 2015 Magnum, awarded 93 points for its connoisseur character, balancing nine years of ageing with notes of brioche, raspberry, and blood orange in a cellar-worthy expression of sophistication.
The highlight, our Madáme Brut Nature Millésimé Blanc de Blancs 2016, achieved an exceptional 95 points – the second consecutive year the Madáme has earned this accolade – showcasing the purity, elegance, and finesse of 100% Chardonnay in true Blanc de Blancs style.
